I saw the triangle bunny box here and just had to make one. I used Paper Shapers small and large oval punches for the ears and feet.
Then I decided a chick would be cute too. I used Paper Shapers 5/8″ square for the beak and two snowflakes for the hair. The feet were punched with the SU five petal flower punch.
These were very quick and easy to make. Start with a 3″ x 5 1/2″ piece of card stock. Score at 2 3/4″ and then score on both sides from the score line out to the middle of the end of the paper. Punch two holes on both ends. Draw face and attach punched pieces. For the ribbon, start on the front left and thread from outside in, now on the back left thread from the outside in again, now on the back right thread from the inside out, and on the front right thread from the inside out again. The ribbon will easily pull up and close the box. I put three Hershey kisses in each one (you may be able to fit four).
I have seen these baskets on a lot of blogs. They are usually 6″ x 6″ and scored at 2″ all around. I made mine 8″ x 8″ and scored at 2 1/2″ all around. The handle is 11″ long. I used a brad for extra ‘security’ and put it from the inside so the basket would look nice on the inside.
The patterned paper is Making Memories from Michael’s (I’ve had them in my stash for awhile). The pieces for the flaps are cut 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ and the pieces for the sides are cut 2 1/4″ x 2 1/2″.
Amanda’s basket is SU Pretty in Pink and the handle is Certainly Celery. Samantha’s basket is SU So Saffron and the handle is The Paper Company Peppermint (from Michael’s). The sentiment was created with the JustRite Stampers small alphabet set and the flower is from the SU SAB Botanical Blooms set. I used pop dots to attach the scallop punches.
I put some basket fill from the Dollar Store in the baskets along with a Russell Stover bunny, a nail file and Vanilla lip balm (from the $1 bins at Michael’s), and the bunny/chick.
