Happy Sunday!
Today I have a bridal shower card and two wedding cards to share. My brother’s best friend got married on Friday so I made a card for my brother and for myself to give. Of course, I also made a card for the bridal shower which was held in February. I used Shimmery White cardstock for all three cards.
Let’s start off with the bridal shower card:
The dress is a die from Memory Box that my good friend Jean gifted me. Some tulle and pearls finish off the stylish wedding dress. The flowers were die-cut with the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits (flowers) and Stylish Stems Framelits (leaves). When creating this card, I envisioned the bride throwing the bouquet over her shoulder.
A peek at the inside:
The congratulations sentiment is from the So in Love stamp set which I die-cut with the frame from the Rose Garden Thinlits. The sprigs are also from the same thinlit set.
My card was inspired by a card I saw while surfing the Web, but I don’t know who to give credit to:
It was hard to get a half-way decent picture as I kept getting glare and reflection from the Silver Foil Sheet. The sentiment was embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.
Here is a look at the inside:
I kept it simple by just embossing the sentiment.
No stamping on the card I made for my brother Kevin to give:
Again, I used Silver Foil Sheet so it was hard to get a good picture. In case you can’t tell, this is shaker card. In addition to sequins, I die-cut mini hearts from Silver Glimmer Paper.
The sentiments are stunning die-cut in glimmer paper.
Although the weather wasn’t so nice, the wedding and reception were lovely.
That’s all for me today. Thanks for stopping by!
