This teacup card is for my mother’s birthday and it is for Cathy’s (Paper Garden Projects) Friday Fun Challenge.
The teacup template was a free download from Lindsay (The Frugal Crafter). I printed it on watercolor paper. The rose image is from the retired SU Dear Friend set. I embossed it in gold and watercolored the image using Old Olive, Real Red, and So Saffron. The little flowers are a Judith Stick. I ran a gold marker around the edges of the teacup.
Cathy’s challenge required that the card have a ribbon. So…
I wrapped a Lipton teabag in pretty paper, tied a ribbon around it, and attached it inside the card with a removal glue dot. What good is a teacup without a teabag, right?!?!? The Happy Birthday sentiment is from GinaK’s Tech Talk set and I layered it on Real Red punched with the SU scallop oval.
Thanks for stopping by. Until next time, Happy Crafting!
