Happy Sunday!
Today’s post is a surprise I made for Wolfgang. Every year he comments that he would like to get an Advent Wreath (it is a big tradition in Germany), but we never do. So, this year I made one for him.
Here is the photo from above:
The luminaries (Old Olive CS and Dashing DSP) are 2 3/4 square and the rosettes (Real Red CS and Dashing DSP) are 2 1/2 in diameter. I made the ring (cardboard covered with Old Olive CS) 9″ with a 6″ cut-out. The tree is a template (smallest in the trio) from Creations by AR and the bird is a template (printed at 50%) from Lynn Pratt’s blog. Both are made with Merry Moments DSP. I spritzed the poinsettias (5-petal punch) with Champagne shimmer mist and the glimmer brads add to the sparkle. The wreaths are from the Winter Wishes Stitched Felt set. In case you are wondering, the red and green battery tea lights are from Walgreens (package of six for $5.00).
Thanks for stopping by.
