I am really enjoying Rachel’s, Hope Stamps, weekly Cupcake Inspiration Challenges. Probably in part because I love sweets and can’t wait each week to see the latest yummy cupcake!
So, how did this week’s interpretation come about? Well, I had purchased a box of Merci chocolates to give as a little thank you to a friend. When I saw the yummy chocolate cupcakes (Devil’s Food is my favorite!) I was inspired to make this little card and container (it’s an empty vitamin bottle) for the chocolates.
I used Bazzill card stock and the patterned paper is called Plum Blossoms by Fresh Print. The card is 3 x 3 and the butterfly is a MS punch. Since the chocolates are called Merci, I thought it would be cute to stamp m e r c i (Studio G $1 stamps and Versafine Vintage Sepia) on the flowers rather than thank you. (If I make this again, I would glue the flowers down rather than use glue dots.) The ribbon is attached with red line tape. I unpacked the chocolates from the box they were packaged in and stood them in the round container. Voila, un grand merci!

p.s. My card for challenge #16 was chosen as one of the top five picks of the week and my card
for challenge #15 was the lucky winner of a nice prize package! Thank you Rachel!
